Position: Music Teacher

Are you a passionate musician with a strong desire to share your expertise and inspire others on their musical journey? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a talented and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team and work one-on-one with participants, helping them develop their instrumental technique(s), performance abilities, and advanced skills such as notation, auditioning, and improvisation.

Responsibilities:

As a Music Teacher, you will:

  1. Provide 1:1 Instruction: Work closely with participants to provide personalized instruction tailored to their individual skill levels and musical goals.
  2. Instrumental Technique: Develop participants' instrumental technique(s) on various instruments, focusing on proficiency and musicality.
  3. Performance Development: Cultivate participants' performance abilities, preparing them for solo and ensemble performances.
  4. Advanced Skills: Instruct and guide participants in advanced musical skills, including music notation, audition preparation, and improvisation techniques.
  5. Showcase Preparation: Collaborate with participants to prepare them for at least two showcases during the course of their instruction.
  6. Assessment: Conduct periodic assessments to track progress and adjust instruction as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A strong background in music education and performance.
  • Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
  • Exceptional teaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Knowledge of music theory and notation.
  • Experience with auditioning and performance preparation.
