Job Brief: Clinical Operations Support Specialist
The Clinical Ops Support Specialist, within TSPMG's Operations and Strategy department, is a contracted hourly position, reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, Operations and Strategy. The Clinical Ops Support Specialist is responsible for managing patient referrals, ensuring high-quality patient care via timely access to services. Work will include reviewing referrals against specialty-specific clinical pathways, within the context of service and access standards.
This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Summary:
The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is one of Georgia's largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups. More than 700 physicians and 300 associate practitioners work together in a unique integrated care model to provide high-quality care to Kaiser Permanente members. Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or other similar bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work within firm deadlines
  • Ability to establish positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and management team members.
  • Work experience in large multi-specialty medical group practices.
  • Experience in referral processing.
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR system.
  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
