2026-2027 BYRON MIDDLE SCHOOL LONG-TERM SUB BAND INSTRUCTOR
Posting:  Byron Middle School is accepting applications for a licensed Band Instructor to teach in our music program for the 2026-2027 school year as a long-term substitute.  Applications will be accepted online, and any questions can be forwarded to Richard Swanson, BMS Principal, at (507)775-2189.  Position is open until filled, with interviews following a review of applicants.  There will also be extracurricular and coaching positions available.  
Description:  This teacher will provide instruction for our Middle School students in the BAND classroom and is responsible for lessons and concerts throughout the school year.  The teacher will strive to guarantee our students a personalized and meaningful learning experience as they demonstrate their growing skillset.  There will be great autonomy as you work with the PLC and department to ensure that every student learns the critical content and applies their learning through real-life experiences.  A great attitude, growth mindset, and love for adolescent learning are essential.   An understanding of auditorium technology and managing performing arts space is preferred.  EEOC
License Requirements:  K12 or 6-12 MN Music/Band





The Long -Term Sub has a daily rate of pay of $261.93.
