Mushroom Farm & Lab Assistant

Location: Denver Metro, CO (in-home facility) Job Type: Part-time (with potential to grow into full-time) Compensation: $20–$25 per hour Schedule: Part-time, flexible daytime hours.


About Us


We are a Colorado-based mushroom company. We cultivate mushrooms and produce grow kits, capsules, extracts, and other wellness products that we sell. Our cultivation and lab work happens at our grow facility and lab space.

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Farm & Lab Assistant to help us run day-to-day operations in the lab and grow rooms.

This role may involve order packing/processing and customer communication as well.


What You'll Do

  • Run the autoclave and sterilize substrate for grow kits and farm production
  • Work at the flow hood for spore and culture production, maintaining strict sterile technique
  • Prepare, mix, and bag substrate and grain spawn
  • Keep the lab, clean areas, and grow spaces clean, sanitized, and organized
  • Help with general production tasks, inventory, labeling, and order prep
  • Provide hands-on assistant support across daily operations as needed


What We're Looking For

  • Must be 21 or older. Applicants under 21 will not be reviewed.
  • Some form of assistant experience preferred
  • Lab, science, or farming background is a huge plus
  • Clean room / sterile technique / flow hood experience is a strong plus (we'll train the right person)
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, able to follow protocols precisely
  • Able to lift, stand, and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a home-based facility environmen
