What is a museum curriculum?

A museum curriculum is a structured educational program or set of learning materials designed to help visitors, especially students, engage with a museum's exhibits and collections. These curricula are often developed by museum educators to align with school standards and enhance classroom learning through interactive activities, guided tours, and hands-on experiences. Museum curricula can include lesson plans, worksheets, and digital resources tailored to different age groups and subject areas.
