Job description

MUSC Health Heart and Vascular is seeking a full-time BC/BE non-invasive Cardiologist for a well-established, community-based outpatient practice located in Northeast Columbia, South Carolina.

MUSC Health Heart and Vascular Northeast is part of MUSC Healths greater Heart and Vascular Center, which provides compassionate care and advanced treatment to patients across South Carolina.  MUSC Health Heart and Vascular Center is the only program in South Carolina to offer heart transplantation, robotic valve surgery and complex aorta surgeries.  And we have the states only cardiovascular genetics program, offering personalized care for people and families with inherited heart and vascular conditions. Join a hardworking team of 28 cardiologists, 3 cardiothoracic surgeons, 1 vascular surgeon, and 31 cardiology APPS to provide advanced treatment and personalized care to patients in the Northeast Columbia area and surrounding communities.

MUSC Health Heart and Vascular has been consistently recognized by U.S. News & World Report in heart failure, aortic valve surgery, and heart bypass surgery.  And specific locations, like the Columbia Downtown Medical Center, have been named a Top National Cardiovascular Hospital by Fortune and Premiers PINC AI.

Required Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Completion of an ACGME Accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program. 
  • Hold an unrestricted South Carolina Medical License.
