The Field Service Engineer also contributes to the creation of technical training materials and service documentation, helping field technicians and customers address real-world challenges efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical engineering support to field service technicians during complex troubleshooting and repair situations, stepping in on escalated issues when challenges extend beyond the field team’s capabilities.
  • Assist with diagnosis and engineering evaluation of mechanical, electrical, multiplex, and high-voltage vehicle systems when elevated technical support is required.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing vehicle downtime and improving customer satisfaction through better service practices and product enhancements.
  • Review field feedback and provide recommendations for product improvements and service enhancements based on real-world performance and reliability data.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, engineering revisions, and support records to ensure traceability and consistency across service and engineering activities.
  • Support special projects and other engineering-related service initiatives as assigned, contributing technical expertise and practical solutions.
