Job description

Strategic Account Manager
Drive Growth. Build Partnerships. Deliver Impact.
Are you a strategic sales professional who thrives on building high-value relationships and solving complex client challenges? We're looking for a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to lead the growth and development of key client partnerships across the industrial and energy sectors.
In this role, you will serve as the primary relationship owner for major strategic accounts, partnering with clients to solve critical health, safety, and environmental (HSE) challenges. You'll identify opportunities, develop integrated service solutions, and drive expansion across national and multinational accounts.
If you're passionate about growing strategic partnerships, closing high-value deals, and delivering measurable value to clients, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.
What You'll Do
  • Own and grow relationships with strategic enterprise-level accounts.
  • Identify client challenges and deliver innovative HSE solutions that improve safety, compliance, and operational performance.
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and developing new opportunities.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated service solutions and bundled offerings.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities.
  • Lead and support complex, multi-site contract negotiations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to better serve clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams.

What You Bring
  • 3-5 years of outside sales experience, ideally in industrial services, energy, or safety-related sectors.
  • 1-2 years of downstream industry experience, including work with refineries or chemical plants.
  • Strong understanding of the oil & gas downstream environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and expanding strategic accounts.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A strategic mindset and problem-solving approach to uncovering growth opportunities.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Work with major industrial clients and high-impact projects.
  • Build long-term strategic partnerships instead of transactional sales.
  • Be part of a collaborative, high-performing team focused on innovation and safety.
  • Opportunity to grow your career while managing national and multinational accounts.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally kneel or crouch while performing job duties.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision with focus adjustment.
