Project Manager III
Rothe is seeking a Project Manager III to provide support to the KSC Business Management Office (IT-M) in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency’s enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside.
SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $115,000
JOB LOCATION: Kennedy Space Center, FL (KSC) - Onsite
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Provide expertise in program and project management.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and manage work, work requests, service lines and projects utilizing program/project management expertise.
  • Creating and/or modifying documents such as Project Plans, requirements, test, and report documents in accordance with NPR 7120.7 and NPR 7120.5.
  • Develop and conduct briefings for senior management.
  • Provide project leadership of assigned projects.
  • Establish and maintain individual, low level, integrated schedules using Microsoft Project and maintain high-level correspondence with stakeholders.
For a Remote or Hybrid position, the employee must have a reliable internet connection and be able to VPN into the NASA network to conduct work.
EDUCATION:
BA/BS or equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience.
Project management experience with large complex projects with multiple stakeholders. This role requires someone comfortable with frequent task changes, tight deadlines, and a high volume of work. Requires strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), and SharePoint.
  • Requires onsite presence 5 days a week at Kennedy Space Center.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Kennedy Space Center and NASA processes/culture.
  • Familiarity with NPR 7120.7, NASA IT Program and Project Management Requirements, NPR 7120.5, NASA Space Flight Program and Project Management Requirements.
  • Mechanical/Electrical knowledge.
