Now hiring Service Technicians in Indianapolis, IN!
We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our maintenance team at Canterbury Green Apartments, our 2,000-unit apartment community. In this full-time role, you'll play an essential part in maintaining our community, delivering exceptional service to residents, and helping ensure our homes and amenities meet Morgan Properties' high standards.
Compensation & Incentives:
  • Base Pay: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
  • Up to 50% Rent Discount
  • Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
  • Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
  • On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

As the Service Technician, you will help to:
  • Troubleshoot and complete service requests, including HVAC, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance and support the day-to-day upkeep of the community
  • Complete apartment make-readies while helping maintain efficient turn times
  • Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
  • Participate in an active on-call rotation and assist during emergency maintenance situations as needed

Hours & Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Frequent rotating on-call participation (approximately every 2 days)

What We'll Expect From You:
  • Active, valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • One year of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong HVAC troubleshooting knowledge and appliance repair experience
  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
