Assistant Service Manager to help lead maintenance operations at
Bradford at Easton, a
324-unit apartment community in Columbus, OH.
In this role, you'll partner with the Service Manager to ensure the community is safe, well-maintained, and exceeds resident expectations. As the Assistant Service Manager, You Will:
- Partner with the Service Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations, apartment turns, and preventative maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance
- Help coordinate work orders, make-ready schedules, and daily maintenance priorities to ensure timely completion
- Support inventory management, monitor maintenance supplies, and identify cost-effective solutions
- Conduct property inspections to maintain community appearance, safety, and compliance with company standards
- Assist with training, coaching, and supporting maintenance team members while fostering a collaborative work environment
- Respond to resident service requests with professionalism, urgency, and a commitment to exceptional customer service
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and assist during emergency situations as needed
We're looking for a maintenance professional who leads with integrity, values teamwork, and takes pride in developing others while maintaining high standards. Compensation & Incentives:
- Base Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
- Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
- On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule:
- Monday - Friday- 8 AM- 5 PM
- Paid rotating on-call participation required
- Must be available to respond to emergency situations, snow removal, and other property needs as required
What We'll Expect From You:
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance
