Full-Time | Day Shift | MedSurg, PCU, ICU Oversight
Position Summary
The RN Director of Inpatient Services provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), overseeing nursing and designated patient care services across MedSurg, PCU, and ICU. The role encompasses assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices on a multi-unit level, with 24/7 accountability for assigned departments. This position ensures high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, supports clinical staff competency, and manages resources effectively.
Qualifications
Education:
• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Required: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Experience:
• Required: Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment
Licensure & Certifications:
• Active RN license in SC or compact state license
• AHA BLS certification
• Must meet all legal and regulatory requirements for professional practice
Skills & Attributes:
