Job description

Multi-Skill Technician– Brookings, SD

Purpose: Promote business growth and customer satisfaction by excelling in the completion of various maintenance and restoration needs of both residential and commercial customers

Essential Functions:

  • Cross Train in all service areas to be able to complete carpet cleaning, furnace / duct cleaning, water mitigation, fire mitigation, and construction restoration
  • Meet with customers to discuss their needs
  • Clean carpets and floors using both equipment and hand-washing techniques
  • Use specialized equipment to access ventilation systems to clean furnace, duct work, and dryer vents
  • Respond quickly to water or fire emergencies to initiate remediation actions
  • Utilize proper equipment in order to eliminate additional damage
  • Perform set up and clean up tasks at job sites

  • Communicate with a positive and empathetic approach to customer interactions
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership team
  • Work diligently and move from one task to another without a loss of efficiency

Experience and Education:

  • High School Graduate or GED Required
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Required
  • Ability to pass a background check Required
  • Skilled at hanging drywall, installing insulation, painting, and carpentry a PLUS

Physical Demands

  • Ability to occasionally bend, climb or balance, kneel, stoop, walk, or push and pull objects
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and occasionally 100lbs, to perform job functions
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, conditions, and temperatures including both in the office and in the field
