Job description

We are hiring an experienced Multi-Craft (Mechanical and Electrical) Maintenance Technician. This role is ideal for a technician who excels at troubleshooting complex hydraulic systems, working with PLCs, and maintaining industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Candidates must have proven experience with PLC troubleshooting, editing, and diagnostics, along with strong skills in hydraulics and industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems
  • Edit and diagnose PLC programs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial machinery
  • Diagnose issues using PLCs as a primary troubleshooting tool
  • Maintain and repair complex hydraulic systems
  • Work with industrial furnaces / ovens (internal combustion systems)(preferred)
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a PLC Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Industrial Electrician
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting and editing experience (REQUIRED)
  • Background in multi-craft industrial maintenance (mechanical + electrical)
  • Experience with complex hydraulics systems
  • Ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift availability)
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial furnaces, ovens, or combustion systems
  • Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or other PLC platforms
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or heavy industrial environments
  • Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and control systems
