Job Description
ContiTech USA is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support electrical and electro-mechanical systems within a continuous manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving production equipment to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.
This is not residential or commercial electrical work - this position supports heavy industrial manufacturing systems, controls, and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair 480V / 3-phase electrical systems
  • Diagnose and maintain PLC-controlled production equipment
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot VFDs, motor controls, and MCC systems
  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Cure control systems, load cells and temperature sensors, boiler electrical systems, and motors and drives
  • Support electro-mechanical troubleshooting of production machinery
  • Maintain plant lighting, power distribution, and alarm systems
  • Fabricate and modify electrical panels and controls as required
  • Collaborate with mechanics and controls engineers to resolve equipment failures
  • Support plant safety standards including NFPA 70E compliance

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
  • Strong troubleshooting ability in electrical and control systems
  • Experience working with PLC-based equipment
  • Ability to work both day shift and night shift
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

DESIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
  • Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field
  • 3+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in continuous-process or heavy manufacturing
  • Familiarity with industrial automation systems

Additional Information
  • Starting wage: $37.07/hr with opportunity for an additional $3/hr increase based on certification
  • $1/hr Shift differential
  • $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Must be able to work 12 hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule)
