Job description

LONG TERM CARE PHARMACY SEEKS MTS INVENTORY TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR TEAM!SpecialtyRx is an innovative, full-service pharmacy who partners with sub-acute and long-term care facilities throughout the United States, transforming drug care by facilitating the complete medication dispensing process

Under general supervision of a Inventory Manager and/or licensed pharmacist, and in accordance with local, state, federal and company laws and regulations.

Hours:Full Time 8:00am-4:00pm; Monday through Friday and rotating weekends

MTS Inventory Technician Responsibilities:

  • Fill inventory into MTS cassettes
  • Perform cycle counts and zone transfers
  • Process rejected cards
  • Maintain shelf organization and remove expired medications
  • Audit team inventory processes and procedures
  • Provide general inventory support as assigned

MTS Inventory Technician Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent, required.
  • Registered as a Pharmacy technician in New Jersey through the Board of Pharmacy, preferred.
  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is a must.
  • Pharmacy or healthcare inventory experience, preferred.
  • MTS robotic system experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and as a team, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and self-sufficient.
  • Ability to lift and move moderately items.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity.
