What are Advanced System Administrators?

Advanced System Administrators are IT professionals responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex computer systems and networks within an organization. They work with both hardware and software to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of IT infrastructure. Their duties often include installing and configuring servers, monitoring network activity, implementing security protocols, and providing technical support to other staff. Will AI replace sys admins?

Advanced System Administrators manage and maintain complex IT infrastructure, and while AI tools can automate routine tasks like monitoring and data analysis, they are unlikely to fully replace the need for human oversight, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required in the role.
