Our client is a transportation services provider supporting the MTA Access-A-Ride program in New York City. They specialize in providing reliable drivers and vehicles to ensure safe and accessible transportation for individuals with disabilities and the elderly.Position Overview
Our client is seeking a CDL Passenger Endorsement Driver to provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for individuals enrolled in the MTA Access-A-Ride program. This role requires strong responsibility, attention to safety, and excellent communication skills.

Location: Long Island City, NY 11101
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $25.00/hour + $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport individuals with disabilities and elderly passengers, including those using wheelchairs
  • Ensure safe and timely transportation based on assigned trip manifests
  • Collect fares and remit them to the base at the end of each shift
  • Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment, including interior cleaning and emergency supply checks
  • Perform routine safety checks to ensure vehicle readiness
  • Communicate any mechanical or operational issues to appropriate staff
  • Follow all company and regulatory safety guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Valid CDL License (Class C or higher) with Passenger (P) endorsement for at least 6 months
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to work morning or night shifts
  • Ability to navigate driving in New York
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with passengers effectively
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
