We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate construction operations for a high-profile project in College Station, TX. This role is critical to ensuring construction activities are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial construction, strong leadership capabilities, and hands-on knowledge of piping systems and fusion methods. This position requires a superintendent who can effectively manage multiple work areas, supervise field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain strong communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Site Management
Oversee all day-to-day construction activities on the job site
Maintain a strong on-site presence to ensure smooth project execution
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel
Ensure work is completed according to project schedules, specifications, and quality standards
Lay out work activities across multiple areas and supervise operations at multiple locations simultaneously
Scheduling & Planning
Develop and maintain project schedules and short-term work plans
Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material needs to maintain productivity
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the job site
Quality Control & Inspections
Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards
Identify and resolve construction deficiencies or field issues proactively
Maintain strict quality control procedures throughout all phases of construction
Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and contract requirements
Safety Management
Enforce all site safety policies and procedures
Complete and review Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
Identify and mitigate workplace hazards to maintain a safe job site
Ensure all personnel utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain compliance with OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
Team Leadership
Lead and supervise a crew of approximately 6 field personnel, including journeymen, apprentices, and helpers
Provide direction, coaching, and support to field teams
Promote accountability, productivity, and teamwork on the job site
Maintain a professional and respectful work environment
Communication & Reporting
Serve as the primary field contact between project management, subcontractors, owners, and stakeholders
Provide clear and concise daily reports documenting progress, manpower, safety, and issues
Communicate project updates, delays, and challenges promptly
Resolve conflicts and field issues effectively and professionally
Resource & Budget Management
Track and manage labor, equipment, and material costs
Monitor project resources to ensure adherence to budget requirements
Coordinate equipment usage and field logistics efficiently
Assist with forecasting and resource planning

The selected candidate must have experience and knowledge in the following areas:
Ability and willingness to work night shifts for approximately 4 months
Knowledge of:
Experience working in high-profile or mission-critical environments
Ability to manage multiple work fronts simultaneously
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Required Qualifications
Education
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial general construction
Proven experience managing field operations and supervising crews
Experience with project scheduling, quality control, and safety management

HVAC Sheet Metal
Work Environment
Onsite role in College Station, TX
Night shift work required for project duration

Important Project Policy
This is a strict non-tobacco project site. Tobacco products of any kind-including cigarettes, chewing tobacco, snuff, vape pens, and similar products-are prohibited on-site. The Superintendent will be responsible for enforcing this policy among field personnel.
