Job description

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking dynamic SERE Section Leads - (PR/SERE HRTI) to assist the Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) in their training initiatives. MARFORSOC has tasked the Marine Raider Training Center (MRTC) to train, equip, and protect its personnel; to prepare them for potential isolating events, enhance recovery efforts, and reduce the potential for exploitation of captured personnel.
This will be accomplished through Personnel Recovery (PR) and SERE training and education at Camp Lejeune, NC.
Position requires an active SECERT clearance.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of leadership experience (military, contract or civilian) as a Section Lead (SE or RE equivalent) for a PR/SERE or SOF specific high-risk course.
  • Six (6) years' experience as a SERE Instructor at a DoD FSLC SERE school.
  • Must be resident expert in Personnel Recovery, Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (PR/SERE) Instruction and training;
  • Specialized JPRA training courses PR303, SERE350, SERE370 and SERE360 or commensurate verifiable experience.
  • Graduate of an approved DoD Instructor Training/Certification Course
  • Minimum of 12 months in assigned section conducting HRTI SERE Instructor duties.
  • Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Responsibilities
  • SL Instructor shall be assigned to both the Survival/Evasion (SE) and the Resistance/Escape (RE) Sections within the PR/SERE Branch. The Section Leads shall perform all duties assigned to SERE Instructors.
  • Coordinating with Government Section Leads, both Active Duty and GS personnel, to ensure Contractor assignments are provided to fill instructor billets, duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensure contractor personnel perform IAW the SOW and applicable MARFORSOC PR/SERE and MRTC POIs. This includes overseeing and reporting all scheduled and ad hoc training ISO the overall program.
  • SL Instructors shall communicate with the Task Lead on any manning or performance issues affecting the performance requirements as outlined within this SOW.
  • SME for all PR/SERE events; capable of filling any position for coverage gaps and temporarily for Task Lead.
  • Successfully complete the following courses or equivalent experience (if applicable): SERE370, SERE360, SERE350, SERE348, PR303 and PR397.
