Mro Technician Jobs (NOW HIRING)

We're looking for a hands-on technician who thrives in a fast-paced aerospace environment. In this position, you'll play a critical role in keeping avionics and electronic aircraft components operating at peak performance by performing detailed inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and testing.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with electronic systems, diagnosing technical issues, and contributing to high-impact aviation operations.

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble electronic and avionics components
• Diagnose faults, identify failed components, and determine root causes using test equipment and technical documentation
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and modification of circuit boards, electronic assemblies, and aircraft systems
• Apply repair procedures using approved technical data, schematics, and engineering documentation
• Conduct functional, environmental, and performance testing to verify system reliability and compliance
• Accurately document repair activities, test results, findings, and measurements
• Utilize specialized electronic test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and automated test systems
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve technical challenges and improve repair processes
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, FAA, and regulatory requirements

• Experience in avionics, aerospace electronics, electronic component repair, or electronics MRO
• Strong electronic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to identify component-level failures
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering drawings
• Experience soldering, desoldering, repairing, and testing electronic assemblies and circuit boards
• Experience working in a regulated environment with high quality and documentation standards
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering precise, high-quality work

• Replaced mechanical/engine maintenance language with avionics and electronics repair terminology.
• Added component-level troubleshooting, soldering, schematics, circuit boards, and test equipment experience.
• Emphasized electronics MRO, avionics, and regulatory compliance relevant to aerospace electronics repair environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
