MRI Technologist

Job Description

MRI Technologists are responsible for the following:

  • Performs patient imaging and remains current with MRI imaging procedures & protocols.
  • Reviews check-in documents for accurate patient medical histories.
  • Provides basic patient care services as required.

Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the MRI Technologist operates MRI imaging equipment in order to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Qualifications for this position include:

  • 1-3 months experience and/or training required
  • Satisfactory formal training in an approved program
  • ARRT (MR) certification required

This position may be eligible for conversion to a Trainee role, subject to the team's capacity and availability of resources to support cross-training. Trainee opportunities are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Individuals accepted into a Trainee role must sign an on-the-job training agreement. All required certifications must be obtained in accordance with the department's training program requirements; failure to meet these requirements may result in termination.

Salary Range

$35.20 to $50.16 Hourly

The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
