Job Summary

Aptiva Health is seeking a skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our team in Hebron, KY. In this role, you will operate high-field and open MRI equipment while providing patients with a comfortable, safe, and positive imaging experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic images and exceptional patient care. This position requires strong knowledge of anatomy, MRI safety protocols, and proper patient positioning, along with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other members of the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations while producing high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare, position, and screen patients appropriately for MRI procedures.
  • Explain procedures clearly, answer patient questions, and help patients remain comfortable and at ease throughout their exam.
  • Follow established MRI safety protocols, including appropriate patient screening and safe injection techniques.
  • Review relevant patient history and imaging orders to ensure accurate and appropriate exams.
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor MRI equipment and troubleshoot basic equipment issues to help minimize delays and downtime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to new technologists as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure while working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
  • MRI Certification (Required) and ARRT Certification (Required)
  • Current applicable state licensure.Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, patient positioning, and MRI safety.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
  • Competitive Pay: $72,000 - $93,000/year, based on experience
  • Monday through Friday schedule; no nights, weekends, or holidays
