We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent / SSHO to oversee multiple federal construction projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with safety regulations. This role combines project leadership with on-site safety oversight, acting as the primary point of contact for execution and compliance Client Details Our client is a well-established General Contractor delivering projects across federal and commercial sectors. Description Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedule and specifications. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain workflow efficiency and prevent delays. Lead project planning discussions and resolve construction, technical, and logistical challenges in real time. Maintain detailed daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation. Monitor project costs, materials usage, and timelines, adjusting schedules as needed. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications. Serve as the primary liaison with ownership and stakeholders. Enforce all federal, state, and site-specific reporting and compliance requirements. Implement and enforce the site-specific Accident Prevention Plan. Conduct daily safety inspections and lead regular toolbox talks. Ensure full compliance with EM 385-1-1 safety standards. Identify, address, and mitigate potential hazards proactively. Act as the primary safety contact for government representatives Profile The Successful Candidate 15+ years of construction supervisory experience, ideally within federal projects. OSHA 30 certification required. Strong knowledge of construction methods including renovations, new builds, and site development. Experience managing projects valued between $500K - $15M. Proficiency with construction/project management tools (e.g., Procore, P6, MS Project). Ability to obtain security clearance and access regulated job sites. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
