Job description

Job Title: Test Technician
Job Location: Hollister, CA
Job Duration: 3 Months, Contract to Hire
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent with experience in Aero or Defence sector preferred
  • Minimum 2 years as a Test Technician, with 1 year training or experience in electronics related testing.
  • Knowledge in the use of Digital data acquisition systems, Oscilloscopes, signal generators, optical power meters, charge amplifiers and general electrical testing equipment
  • Familiarity with MS office products.
Responsibilities: 
  • Perform repetitive electrical, dimensional, visual, and leak testing to written procedures using the proper calibrated equipment. Performs measurements with mechanical and electrical instruments such as micrometers, ammeter, volt-ohmmeter, pressure gauges, laser optical power meters and oscilloscopes, signal generators.
  • Required to make their own test set-ups with minimal support from higher level technicians in accordance with written test procedures. Reads and interprets conventional electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Mass spec (i.e., leak) testing in accordance with written procedures such as IPTs, ATP’s, QTP’s, and MP’s.
  • Environmental testing, with support from higher level technicians in accordance with written procedures such as IPT’s, ATP’s, QTP’s.
  • Test equipment calibration monitoring, in addition to 5S disciplines.
  • 2 years as a Test Technician, with 1 year training or experience in electronics related testing. Knowledge in the use of Digital data acquisition systems, Oscilloscopes, signal generators, optical power meters, charge amplifiers and general electrical testing equipment.
