Job description

Mover - Installer


Location: BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM USA HQ, RIDGEFIELD - 57103042

Workdays/shifts: Afternoon/evenings - varying days. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-Time Rotation Shift

Pay Range: $18 per hour - $18 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Mover - Installer, you will be responsible for relocating and setting up furniture, conference rooms, events, and assembling office equipment throughout the site’s buildings.


Responsibilities include:

  • Move office, conference room, event, or other furniture, such as desks, chairs, cabinets, easels, bookcases, etc. within rooms and/or across site and between buildings
  • Disconnect and reconnect existing IT equipment
  • Assemble and disassemble modular furniture systems as directed
  • Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.


What You Bring:

  • Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
  • At least 6 months of work experience preferred
  • Capacity to work in a standing position for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours and reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull and frequently lift 40 or more pounds.
  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Valid driver license required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
