Job description

Syndeo has an opening for a Shot Peen Helper at a local metal processing company. The Shot Peen Helper assists operators with part handling, preparation, and basic support tasks to

ensure safe and efficient shot peening operations.

Schedule -  1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - Some overtime may be required

Pay - $16-$17 BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload parts from machines
  • Mask and unmask parts per work instructions as needed
  • Assist with part preparation, cleaning, and staging
  • Maintain part identification and organization
  • Support Almen strip handling as directed
  • Perform basic visual checks of parts
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Follow all safety requirements and use PPE
  • Any additional work assigned by manager.

Requirements:

  • Must have prior experience using hand tools
  • Must have excellent attendance record & reliable transportation
  • Open to learning a new skill; shot peening
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and good communication skills
  • Follow Company Safety rules and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Manufacturing or shop experience is a plus
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
  • Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including safety glasses, hearing
  • protection, and other PPE based upon requirements in working area.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
