Job description

Warehouse Supervisor - Household Goods & Logistics
Lead the Team. Own the Warehouse. Keep Things Moving.
Are you a hands-on leader who knows how to keep a warehouse organized, productive, and moving?
Schroeder Moving is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of our New Berlin warehouse operations. You'll lead the warehouse team, manage inventory, improve processes, and make sure everything is where it needs to be when our crews need it.
This isn't a desk-only job. You'll be leading from the floor, solving problems, coaching your team, and making things happen.
What You'll Own
  • Run the warehouse: Oversee receiving, storage, staging, inventory, and shipping.
  • Lead the team: Assign work, set expectations, coach employees, and hold the team accountable.
  • Keep inventory on point: Maintain accurate records, conduct audits, and quickly resolve discrepancies.
  • Make things better: Identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and develop practical SOPs.
  • Keep it safe: Enforce safety standards and ensure equipment is properly used and maintained.
  • Keep operations moving: Work closely with dispatch and operations to make sure jobs are prepared and ready to go.
  • Plan ahead: Help manage staffing and workload during busy seasons.

What Makes You a Great Fit?
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has 2+ years of warehouse, logistics, or operations experience preferred.
  • Has experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Understands inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Is organized, dependable, and comfortable making decisions.
  • Can juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the details.
  • Communicates clearly and knows how to hold people accountable.
  • Is comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and behind the scenes.
  • Has forklift experience/certification - or is willing to get certified (training provided).

High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent experience will be considered.
This Is a Hands-On Leadership Role
You'll spend time both managing operations and working alongside your team. The warehouse environment includes moving equipment, machinery, and changing temperatures.
You should be comfortable:
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Frequently lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Bending, reaching, and performing repetitive movements.
  • Working safely around warehouse equipment and materials.

A Few Requirements
  • Background check required.
  • Pre-employment and random drug testing required.

Ready to Take the Lead?
If you're the kind of person who sees a problem and fixes it, knows how to get the best out of a team, and takes pride in running a warehouse the right way, we'd like to hear from you.
