Please note: This is a physically demanding position that involves extensive walking, lifting, cleaning, stair climbing, and working outdoors during summer weather conditions. Applicants should be comfortable performing manual labor for the duration of their shift.

Position Summary
As a Temporary Summer Turn Assistant, you will work alongside our Maintenance and Operations teams to prepare apartments and common areas for incoming residents. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a clean, welcoming, and move-in-ready community.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Cleaning & Apartment Turnover
  • Clean and prepare apartments for new residents
  • Assist with apartment inspections and move-in readiness
  • Clean common areas, including clubhouses, fitness centers, lounges, hallways, and model units
  • Remove trash, furniture, and debris from apartments and community grounds
  • Ensure amenities remain clean, organized, and presentable

Property Appearance
  • Perform daily grounds walks and trash pickup
  • Assist with maintaining curb appeal throughout the property
  • Help set up and maintain welcoming community spaces
  • Report cleanliness, safety, or maintenance concerns to management

Maintenance Support
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks under supervision
  • Help move supplies, furniture, and equipment as needed
  • Support maintenance technicians during turn season projects
  • Assist with inventory organization and supply distribution
  • Identify and report maintenance issues throughout the community

Resident & Team Support
  • Assist with move-in preparations and community events
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and guests
  • Work collaboratively with office and maintenance team members

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials, supplies, furniture, and equipment
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly, with heavier team lifts as needed
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout an entire shift
  • Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial services, hospitality, groundskeeping, facilities maintenance, moving services, construction labor, or property management
  • Experience working in student housing, multifamily housing, hotels, or residential communities
  • Not required-we are willing to train motivated candidates
