Position: Process Engineer
Location: Spartanburg, SC

You’ll work at the center of operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and production, leading initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and overall plant performance. From launching new processes and implementing lean manufacturing strategies to optimizing layouts and solving real-time production challenges, your work will directly impact our success.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, tooling, and plant layouts
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
  • Support new product launches, process development, equipment implementation, and documentation
  • Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for operational excellence
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction and continuous improvement
  • Support capital equipment projects from concept through implementation
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency through innovative problem-solving and process optimization
  • Maintain and update 2D CAD plant layouts and manufacturing documentation
  • Help create safer, smarter, and more efficient manufacturing operations

Minimum Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial amp; Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5 years of Process Engineering experience, preferably within automotive manufacturing
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, materials, and production workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
