Job description

RideNow Powersports - Austin, is seeking an Service Builder to join our growing team!
If you are a team player, possess basic mechanical knowledge, and are looking to gain more experience wrenching, apply below!
Main Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload inventory
  • Pick-up and delivery of Motorcycles, UTVs, ATVs, and Watercraft.
  • Provide detailed documentation of any shipping damages, including photos and parts needed for repairs immediately to the Service Advisor or Service Manager
  • Assemble Powersports vehicles according to the checklist provided by the manufacturer
  • Clean up the shop every morning before starting work and after each individual job/build is complete
  • Clean and prepare units for showroom or delivery
  • Check fluids, tire pressure, and adjustments on all bikes leaving the service department
  • Perform basic maintenance and oil changes as requested
  • Install/Change tires
  • Assist with other duties as requested by management

  • Requirements:
    • Hands-on experience in a powersports dealership handling basic maintenance items on bikes and assembling powersports vehicles, desired
    • Capable of moving large, heavy motorcycles (some up to 850 pounds fully dressed)
    • Ability to drive a truck and trailer
    • Ability to tie down powersports vehicles safely.
    • Motorcycle endorsement, desired
    • Clean driving record required
    • Own a basic set of tools for assembling powerpsorts vehicles, preferred.
    • Team Oriented- Works well with Managers, Technicians, and Customers
    • Maintain an organized, tidy, and safe workspace
    • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced high volume environment
    • Ability to be on your feet most of the day
    • Ability to work a 40-50 hour schedule, including Saturdays
    • Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform job duties.
