Automotive Customer Service Associate

Our Reynoldsburg, Ohio, location is the site of Kenda USA, which manages all aspects of Kenda's North American operations.

Position Summary: The automotive customer service associate is responsible for order processing and related invoicing for the department and specifically for the 3PL warehouse interaction. The position is also responsible for the accurate generation of all packing lists, sales data, credit memos, backorders and other related items involved in providing effective customer service. Responsibilities also include the resolution of issues that may arise during order processing to ensure excellent customer service.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required Previous customer service, accounting, and/or sales experience is required Experience working with various points on the supply chain is preferred, but not required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Knowledge of the tire industry is a plus Sales and customer service skills Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics (or similar CRM platforms) Ability to negotiate, analyze, identify issues, and solve problems Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Familiarity with Sage or similar ERP systems and EDI order processing Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide sales and customer service assistance via telephone and email In-take of monthly order file to process all new purchase orders Perform the entry and processing of sales orders for the department Act as a liaison between our customer and the factory Coordinate the resolution of complex customer support issues regarding order status, inventory availability, shortages, pricing, and shipping Recommend alternative suggestions and/or resolutions Prioritize day-to-day job tasks for the department Provide price quotations for products as needed Attend and provide input in internal meetings with management Provide support as needed on additional projects and assignments Work with Nevada warehouse team for stock verification/reconciliation as needed to ensure internal records match Performs other duties as assigned
