As of Aug 4, 2026, the average yearly pay for motorcycle lawyer in the United States is $144,688.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $103,000.00 and $174,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are some common challenges motorcycle lawyers face when representing clients involved in motorcycle accidents?

Motorcycle Lawyers often encounter challenges such as overcoming biases against motorcyclists, carefully reconstructing accident scenes, and dealing with complex insurance claims. They must meticulously gather evidence to demonstrate liability, as many people—including jurors and insurance adjusters—may assume motorcyclists are at fault. Additionally, these lawyers collaborate closely with accident reconstruction experts, medical professionals, and investigators to build strong cases for their clients. Successfully navigating these challenges requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of motorcycle laws and safety regulations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a motorcycle lawyer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Motorcycle Lawyer, you need a law degree, state bar licensure, and expertise in personal injury and traffic law as they pertain to motorcycle accidents. Familiarity with legal research databases, case management software, and negotiation techniques is typically required. Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and empathy for clients help build trust and present compelling cases. These skills are crucial for effectively advocating for injured motorcyclists, navigating complex legal processes, and achieving favorable outcomes.

They have in-depth knowledge of traffic laws, insurance policies, and the unique challenges that motorcyclists face on the road. These attorneys help clients recover compensation for injuries, damages, and losses, and often handle negotiations with insurance companies and at-fault parties. Hiring a motorcycle lawyer can help ensure that your rights are protected and that you receive fair treatment after an accident.

Pre-Litigation Attorney

Baltimore, MD • On-site

Job description

Description
WGK Personal Injury Lawyers is hiring a Pre-Litigation Attorney to own personal injury files from the treatment phase through settlement. This is a case ownership role, not a task role. You will carry your own docket, control strategy on every file, and be the decision-maker on valuation, demand posture, and negotiation.
You will work with a team of pre-litigation legal assistants who handle the administrative engine of each file: treatment set-up, medical record and bill retrieval, opening first-party and liability claims, PIP and MedPay submissions, and lost wage documentation. Your job is to direct that work, hold it to standard, and convert completed files into resolved cases. The majority of our volume is auto and auto-adjacent (pedestrian, bicycle, motorcycle, truck, scooter), with premises liability and dog bite matters throughout.
We are an AI-forward firm. We expect this attorney to use AI tools actively for demand drafting, medical chronologies, and case analysis, with attorney judgment on every output.
Benefits:
  • Stage-based commission on every case you resolve, plus 30% of net fee on cases you originate
  • Health insurance with 80% of premiums employer-paid, effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment
  • Health reimbursement card covering copays, currently up to $2,650 per year
  • Dental and vision insurance available through payroll deduction, same waiting period
  • $20,000 term life insurance at no cost to you, effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment
  • 401(k) with employer match up to 4%, eligible after six months of employment
  • Unlimited paid time off
  • Gym membership covered
  • Free parking at our downtown Baltimore office
  • Optional supplemental life, short-term disability, and additional coverage through payroll deduction
