Role Description
 
This is a full-time, on-site Legal Receptionist role located in Charlotte, NC. The Legal Receptionist will handle front desk responsibilities, including managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining office organization, and greeting clients. Additional duties include processing legal documents, coordinating with attorneys and staff, and ensuring efficient communication within the office. This position requires a professional and personable demeanor and excellent organizational skills to maintain the office’s day-to-day operations effectively.
 
Qualifications
 
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and basic understanding of law to assist with document preparation and administrative tasks
 
  • Excellent Communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, to interact effectively with clients and legal professionals
 
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements
 
  • Professional Phone Etiquette and ability to manage incoming calls with courtesy and confidentiality
 
  • Experience with Receptionist Duties, including scheduling, organizing files, and handling client inquiries
 
  • Proficiency in using office software and equipment, such as Microsoft Office Suite
 
  • Capability to multi-task effectively and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in law or administrative support is a plus
 
  • Bilingual abilities (preferred but not required)
 
  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive client information
