Are you an individual with a strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and a desire to grow with a Company? The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience as a electric motor mechanic. Applicants must be able to read and follow work instructions, inspect, diagnose and document results for a variety of AC or DC electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes. Skill set must include knowledge of basic testing and measurement instruments (surge, hipot, micrometers, etc.). A strong work ethic with a sense of urgency is a must for a service company. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Founded in 1991, Applied Dynamics is independently owned and operated company, with headquarters in Greenfield, MA. Applied Dynamics is New Englandโ€™s industry leader as the premiere full-line electrical/mechanical apparatus sales and service company. Not only do we sell electro/mechanical equipment, but we also service it.
Our motor repair division can repair and rewind AC/DC motors up to 3000 hp while incorporating a special VPI insulation system. Our motor repair division also repairs all makes/model gearboxes and pumps. Additionally, we also having an extensive machine shop which allows for us to make all mechanical repairs, fabrication, and custom-built parts to meet our customersโ€™ requirements.
Our hoist & crane division provides customers with OSHA compliant inspection services for overhead industrial hoist & crane systems. In addition to the inspection services, we also provide repair and service work to these systems. All of our technicians are factory trained for both inspections and repairs.
Our field service division provides on-site services for our customers. These services include equipment installation and removals, AC/DC variable frequency drive repair, laser alignment, on-site balancing, infrared thermography, and vibration analysis. We also provide preventive maintenance services which includes electrical testing, mechanical inspections, oil analysis, and electrical cabinet maintenance.
