Position Overview:

The Automation and Motion Control (MCS) division of Regal Rexnord is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Engineer II to support product safety, testing, and certification efforts in Radford, Virginia. This role plays a critical part in ensuring motor and drive systems meet global regulatory standards and certification requirements, enabling reliable product performance and market access.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who thrives in a lab-based environment and brings a strong focus on testing, validation, and continuous improvement. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally to support compliance activities across new and existing products, working closely with internal teams and external certification agencies. Additionally, this role supports the broader engineering organization by ensuring compliance considerations are integrated early in product development, contributing to efficient execution and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document product testingin accordance withapplicable regulatory standards
  • Support certification of electrical motor and drive products
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, production, and engineering teams
  • Coordinate with external testing agencies (e.g., UL, CSA, TUV)
  • Create,maintain, and manage certification documentation
  • Review development specifications to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Contribute to requirements and specifications for new product development
  • Maintain andmonitorexisting certifications
  • Providetechnical guidance to customers on standards interpretation and application

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering(Electrical Engineering preferred), Physics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with lab testing and validation
  • Experience documenting test results andwritingtechnical reports
  • Strong understanding of engineering standards and compliance processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience leading certification efforts for electromechanical products
  • Familiarity with global regulatory standards and certification processes
  • Experience working directly with third-party testing agencies (UL, CSA, TUV)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to support customer inquiries related to compliance and standards
  • Experience contributing to product design requirements with compliance in mind

Work Type:Onsite. Thisrole follows an Onsite Work Schedule and requires working from your designated Regal Rexnord office on a full-time basis.
