Job description

Opulence Home Equity is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Reverse Mortgage Processor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a mortgage professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and understands the unique process of reverse mortgage lending.

Responsibilities:
  • Process reverse mortgage loan files from application through closing
  • Review and organize borrower documentation to ensure complete and accurate loan files
  • Prepare and distribute required disclosures in compliance with regulatory timelines
  • Communicate directly with borrowers, loan officers, title companies, and third parties to obtain required documentation and clear conditions
  • Monitor loan milestones and maintain accurate pipeline updates
  • Ensure files meet lender, investor, and compliance guidelines
  • Assist in resolving loan conditions and processing-related issues on time
Qualifications:
  • Previous mortgage processing experience required
  • Reverse mortgage / HECM processing experience strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of mortgage documentation, disclosures, and compliance timelines
  • Excellent communication and borrower relationship skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with mortgage LOS and CRM systems preferred
