Morales Youth and Family Care Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and addiction issues to develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Monitor client progress during therapy sessions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance efficacy and address evolving needs.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that provide clients with peer support, helping them to share experiences and coping strategies.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, within an addiction recovery framework.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress, ensuring immediate support and developing action plans for safety and stabilization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to ensure clients receive holistic support.

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families within the Elk Grove region who are dealing with addiction and mental health issues. The therapist will work with a diverse client demographic, including adolescents, adults, and families, each facing unique challenges and backgrounds. The objective is to empower clients through tailored therapeutic strategies that encourage personal growth and recovery.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
• Active and unrestricted California state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to cultivate rapport and trust with clients.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document client interactions and treatment outcomes effectively.

• Demonstrable experience in mental health counseling, particularly in providing therapy to clients dealing with addiction.
• Deep understanding of community mental health resources available in Elk Grove to assist clients effectively.
• Experience leading group therapy sessions and facilitating workshops aimed at skill-building and recovery.

The salary for this LMFT position ranges between USD 120,000 and 130,000 per year, depending on the therapist's caseload and experience level.
