Job Description: This job is responsible for managing clients and related credit products, partnering closely with relationship management, sales/trading, treasury management, operations and risk teams to support the client relationship.

Key responsibilities include underwriting, monitoring, managing operational needs and/or client requests. Job expectations include credit-focused client management responsibilities, independent thought leadership, strong leadership skills, the ability to provide feedback to less experienced teammates and may also manage a team.

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Global Banking and Markets product spectrum. Drive speed to market and asset quality. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the portfolio at the client, industry, and macro level in order to assess risk and structure value-added solutions that balance risk and return. Independently assess the creditworthiness, including due diligence of prospective borrowers and/or trading counterparties and establish appropriate terms and conditions to mitigate risk. Provide high quality and efficient credit approval to Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Treasury while observing compliance with established credit policies and guidelines. Structure transactions and negotiate credit documentation including loan credit agreements and amendments, ISDAs, and CSAs. Establish appropriate internal risk ratings for clients and implement accurate adjustments throughout the client’s credit lifecycle. Develop, maintain, and manage internal relationships with business partners including Corporate and Investment Bankers, Sales & Trading, Risk Management, Syndications, and Legal. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related: and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to analyze trends, including cash flow, leverage buyout, cost of capital analysis, ability-to-pay, value-creation, operating models, and 3-statement models;
  • Researching and analyzing trends across sectors and capital structures;
  • Conducting research using Bloomberg, Moody’s, S&P, and other financial databases to analyze market data and competitive dynamics;
  • Supporting origination, structuring, and deal execution and working on a broad scope of committed financing assignments for corporate clients;
  • Participating in the credit committee approval process, including due diligence, credit analysis and communication with the Risk team;
  • Assessing traded product opportunities against risk appetite and monitoring trading product exposure to specific clients as well as across the sector and portfolio.
