Job Title : Business Analyst
Location : Newark, NJ
Duration : Long term
Job Description:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • You should collaborate with 7 business affiliates and 4 functional areas to understand, consolidate, and document business requirements.
  • Must have analyze market data feed usage, data ingestion processes, downstream data consumption, and business use cases.
  • Gather and document data field requirements, historical data requirements, data lineage, and data usage across functional areas.
  • You should define and document data quality rules, validation requirements, and business controls.
  • Experience in translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for technology and development teams.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, technology teams, and vendors to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
  • You Should analyze existing data processes and identify opportunities for data quality, governance, integration, and process improvements.
  • Experience with support documentation of data requirements, data flows, source systems, downstream consumers, and business rules.
  • You should partner with data governance teams to establish consistent data definitions, quality standards, ownership, and governance practices.

Required Skills
  • Prior experience working with Market Data feeds (e.g. Bloomberg, S&P, FactSet, Moody's, S&P, Blackrock, LSEG Refinitiv, etc.) and asset management industry or financial services experience.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Purview or other data governance tool is a plus.
