Why This Role?

As Assistant Medical Director, you'll play a key leadership role in advancing healthcare delivery across a nationally recognized school health program that removes barriers to care and brings comprehensive services directly to students where they learn and thrive.

This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical practice, leadership, and population health impact while helping shape the future of school-based healthcare in one of the country's most innovative healthcare systems.

Working closely with the Medical Director and Nursing Leadership, you'll help drive:

  • Clinical excellence across the MSHP network of school-based health centers
  • Quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Strategic program growth and innovation
  • Provider mentorship, engagement, and professional development
  • Efforts to improve health equity and healthcare access for underserved communities

This 0.5 FTE leadership position is paired with 0.5 FTE direct patient care, offering the best of both worlds: meaningful administrative leadership while maintaining clinical practice and patient relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Provide physician leadership for one of the nation's most respected school health programs
  • Partner with interdisciplinary leaders to enhance quality, outcomes, and patient experience
  • Support clinical operations and provider development across the MSHP network
