Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Monitoring Tools Engineer. In this role, the candidate will be the technical expert for specific core monitoring tools and will need to be proficient in the support of Splunk, as well as possess experience with various monitoring tools and programming languages.
Responsibilities:
• Candidate should be an experienced Monitoring Tools Engineer.
• In this role, the candidate will be the technical expert for specific core monitoring tools.
• Candidate will need to be proficient in the support of Splunk including the deployment, instrumentation and leveraging the tool
• Proven experience with one or more supporting monitoring tools such as – Dynatrace, SiteScope, Catchpoint
• Knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services, processing, monitoring, shell scripts, etc.
• Proven experience in programming languages (Java and/or .NET)
• Proven experience in application/network performance and availability monitoring
• Proven experience in N-Tier Architecture supporting a multitude of products (Webserver, Middleware, Database, etc.)
• Knowledge of ITIL functions and processes
• An excellent communicator, able to network and influence across multiple levels is required of this role
• A self-motivated, hands-on, driven individual with strong leadership skills
• A strategic thinker who can link business context to technical reality
Qualifications:
Required:
• BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Proficient in Dynatrace - Performance Engineering Analysis
• Proficient in .Net Core
• Proven experience with one or more supporting monitoring tools such as – Dynatrace, SiteScope, Catchpoint
• Knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services, processing, monitoring, shell scripts, etc.
• Proven experience in programming languages (Java and/or .NET)
• Proven experience in application/network performance and availability monitoring
• Proven experience in N-Tier Architecture supporting a multitude of products (Webserver, Middleware, Database, etc.)
