Job description

Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You
This role is based at one of our corporate offices in McLean, VA (strongly preferred), New York, NY, or Dallas, TX.
At Hilton, we are leveraging partners, commercial opportunities, guest experience and data to drive value for our guests, owners and enterprise. Our mission is to deliver high-impact, efficient media solutions that connect global partners to meaningful audiences while preserving the integrity of the guest experience.
As Senior Director, Head of Media & Ad Products you will play a critical role in building and scaling this next-generation commerce media business. Leveraging Hilton's first-party data, loyalty ecosystem, and owned channels, you will help define the technology & measurement for a world-class media platform.
Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Partnerships, this leader will be responsible for setting the technology roadmap, driving product innovation, and leading cross-functional execution across product & measurement. The role oversees the design, development, and commercialization of Hilton's media product portfolio, including ad products, technology infrastructure, monetization frameworks, and performance mechanisms that drive measurable revenue growth and partner value.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, product management, advertising technology, analytics, and commercialization. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, product orientation, with experience building and scaling advertising, or digital platform businesses.
As a key member of the Commerce Media leadership team, you will help shape the future of Hilton's media ecosystem, developing solutions that create value for guests, advertisers, owners, and Hilton, while upholding the trust and brand standards that define the Hilton experience.
What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Translate CMN enterprise strategy into a multi-year media product roadmap, prioritizing scalable, privacy-safe advertising solutions across Hilton.com, the Hilton Honors app, CRM/email, Connected Room, and emerging channels.
  • Design, launch, and continuously optimize advertising products and monetization models (display, native, programmatic, CTV, contextual) that drive consistent double-digit product revenue growth while maintaining high partner satisfaction.
  • Develop pricing frameworks, packaging strategies, forecasting models, and yield optimization approaches across direct-sold and programmatic channels to maximize revenue and contribution margin.
  • Define measurement strategies and success metrics for advertisers and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop the roadmap for launching and optimizing advertising technology required to run the business including Ad Server, OMS tools, DSP & SSP partnerships, etc.
  • Partner with Analytics and Data Science teams to develop reporting, attribution, and incrementality frameworks.
  • Establish standards for campaign measurement, audience performance, and business impact reporting.
  • Partner with Technology and Data teams to operationalize ad tech integrations, measurement frameworks (including incrementality and attribution), and performance reporting that enable closed-loop insights and operational efficiency.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Work closely with the Vice President & GM, CMN to align product priorities with enterprise strategy, P&L objectives, and governance guardrails.
  • Partner with Sales and Strategic Partnerships to develop media kits, rate cards, playbooks, and commercialization frameworks that accelerate pipeline conversion and advertiser retention.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Technology, Legal/Privacy, Brand, Digital, Loyalty, and Finance teams to ensure product execution aligns with Hilton's guest-first standards, brand integrity, and compliance requirements.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
  • The CMN product roadmap and innovation pipeline, including new ad formats, monetization enhancements, and scalable operational capabilities.
  • Enterprise pricing models, yield optimization tools, and standardized advertiser reporting dashboards that improve efficiency, reduce cost-to-serve, and support high NPS and partner satisfaction benchmarks.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Twelve plus (12+) years of experience in media, ad-tech, digital advertising, or commerce media product leadership.
  • Five plus (5+) years leading product or monetization teams, with demonstrated success scaling product portfolios.
  • Expertise in ad tech ecosystems including programmatic, display, native, CTV, DSP/SSP integrations, identity solutions, and performance measurement.
  • Depth of experience in pricing strategy, yield optimization, forecasting, and performance analytics.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional programs across product, technology, analytics, and commercial organizations.
  • Proven skill to influence senior executives and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

It would be useful if you have:
  • Experience launching or scaling a media network or retail/travel media product.
  • Experience reducing operational costs through automation, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Background in building partner-ready operational dashboards and measurement solutions.
  • MBA or advanced degree in business, marketing, data science, analytics, or related field.
  • Strong influence without authority and experience driving alignment across organizational boundaries.
