Job description

$4,000 Sign on Bonus. Our Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatric Unit is a specialized inpatient unit for the psychiatric evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of children and adolescents with co-occurring developmental and psychiatric disorders. This 14-bed unit is the only one of its kind in Maryland, and offers a behavioral approach to care for these dually diagnosed children and adolescents.

As an LPN, you will:  

  •  Provide professional patient care
  •  Collect patient data and participate in treatment planning
  •  Administer medications and medical treatment as prescribed by physician
  •  Document and report patient progress to treatment team

Requires:  Graduation from an accredited program of nursing and current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Maryland at the time of appointment and continuously throughout tenure in position (or must be eligible to obtain LPN licensure by time of hire). LPNs are required to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.  Must be able to attend required 7 day orientation: Thursday, Friday and the following Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm each day, excluding Saturday and Sunday.
