Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist for a full-time role, working Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate and timely specimen collection, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring compliance with all laboratory procedures and regulations.


Job Responsibilities
  • Patient Verification: Accurately verify test requisitions by comparing them with nursing station logs and resolving discrepancies with facility personnel.
  • Specimen Collection: Perform venipunctures with precision and care while ensuring patient comfort and adherence to aseptic techniques.
  • Safe Transportation: Maintain personal safety and proper specimen handling during transport; track mileage as instructed by management.
  • Specimen Integrity: Follow department protocols and isolation procedures to maintain sample quality and prevent contamination.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Accurately document collected specimens, including initials, date, and time of collection.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to legal and industry standards.
  • Data Entry: Utilize laboratory information systems to accurately input sample acquisition details.
  • Professionalism & Community Service: Serve as a representative of the organization by maintaining professional conduct, adhering to policies, and ensuring high-quality service.
