Salary Range $38.00 - $45.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Category Nurse

Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessment of youth upon admission and as needed
  • Administration of medication
  • Document in Electronic MAR.
  • Nurse group education with youths.
  • Communicate with residential staff and report information for care of youth.
  • Document health issues in electronic record
  • Arrange medical appointments for the youth.
  • Engage with youth during shift.
  • Attend Team meetings/Nursing meetings as scheduled.
  • Review and audit charts for compliance with Office of Licensing.
  • Communicate on Daily Electronic Report for each shift.
  • Communicate with Psychiatrist as needed.
  • Train staff for in-services as related to care of youth's needs.
  • Other assigned duties, assignments and responsibilities as required under scope of professional license.

Hours:

Part-time; flexible Monday - Friday; occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Part-time benefits include:

  • NJ Earned Sick Time
  • Time and one half paid on Agency holidays

Education/Experience:

Minimum of three years' nursing experience or psychiatric nursing experience. Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required. Experience with children/adolescents.
