Job description

Ryno Construction – Mining Supervisor
Location: Salida (Monarch Limestone Mine)

Ryno Construction is seeking a Mining Supervisor for summer operations at our Monarch Limestone Mine. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a crew, operate equipment, and keep production moving safely and efficiently in a mining environment.

The position will consist of:

  • Mine supervision and safety in accordance with MSHA regulations and standards
  • Operating loader/dozer/excavator
  • Set up of operation and maintenance of crushers, screens, conveyors
  • Ability to complete equipment and site inspection logs and necessary reports for production tracking

This is not a sit-back role—you will be expected to lead from the front, stay organized, and keep both production and safety dialed in daily.

If performance meets expectations, this position will transition into a year-round role with Ryno Construction, supporting winter civil operations as an operator/supervisor and returning to the mine the following season.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $30.00 – $37.00/hour (D.O.E.)
  • $100 – $125/day per diem
  • On-site camper space provided with power

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with mining and crushing equipment (required)
  • Strong understanding of MSHA compliance and jobsite safety
  • Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment independently
  • Capable of managing production tracking and daily reporting
