Job description

Mon Health Medical Center is the flagship member of Mon Health System. The 164-bed hospital was officially established in 1943 and offers a wide variety of specialties and outpatient clinics.

The facility is committed to quality, personalized care with emphasis on community engagement and dedication with respect to North Central West Virginia, southwestern Pennsylvania and the surrounding regions. At Mon Health Medical center, the employees are the heart of the organization. The facility fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment that values the contributions and well-being of staff.

The Hospitalist provides comprehensive clinical care in the inpatient setting. Follows and directs evidenced based practices as established within the Hospital service line. Collaborates and coordinates the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.

Qualifications:

1. Completed approved Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy residency program in a specialty such as Family Medicine or Internal Medicine resulting in board eligibility to board certification.

2. Licensed as a physician to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia.

3. Active WV DEA certificate without restrictions.

4. Current BLS and ACLS required.

5. Credentialed and privileged as a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of Mon Health Medical Center.
