Job Summary
The Sr. Director of Quality is responsible for gathering and evaluating data from the organization; analyzing data for patterns and trends in care delivery; training and educating the organization's staff to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; keeping up to date with all federal and state laws and regulations; overseeing the organization's reporting of patient care benchmarks and measurements to federal and state authorities and works closely with leadership to ensure good quality care and minimize patient harm.The Sr. Director of Quality works in conjunction with the Chief Nursing Executive to promote the vision and direction for all aspects of quality, patient safety and process improvement for Mon Health Medical Center and working collaborative with Quality and Risk/Compliance peers across Mon Health System to support and promote quality programs and initiatives.The Sr. Director of Quality ensures that the organization provides the highest quality care in a safe, timely and patient centered manner. Provides leadership and direction ensuring the organization meets accreditation and regulatory standards and fulfills reporting requirements. Develops and expands continuous clinical performance improvement through the setting of priorities, allocation of resources, oversight of policies and procedures and the setting and execution of strategic plans. This position will work in conjunction with MHS Risk Management team on compliance and risk management programs; to include compliance, risk, and legal issue reporting, coordinating systems for compliance and risk identification, investigation, and analysis; and coordination of education.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Minimum of 5 years in Quality Management; Preferred: leadership in Quality/Risk andCompliance Management with greater than 5 years in Management in a matrixed organization.
