What you'll do:

  • Responsible for efficiently running the tufting machine involving checking the face for quality defects, getting defects corrected, threading needles, and replacing any yarn which may have run out from the creel.
  • Must mark and doff all rolls produced as well as assist in changing the primary backing.
  • Responsible for checking rugs to match order
  • Responsible for checking yarn to match order
  • Expected to maintain all housekeeping items and follow all housekeeping procedures associated with the position.
  • Responsible for repairing minor machine malfunctions.
  • Responsible for lifting/moving heavy objects and loading/unloading blade blocks.
  • Expected to meet the production, quality, and safety needs set by management.
  • Expected to follow all safety procedures for the job duties assigned
  • Placing recycle materials in correct containers.
  • Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or hazards in work area.
