Role Overview
A ServiceNow Technical Architect is a professional responsible for designing and implementing complex IT solutions specifically within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow, its modules, and architecture principles. ServiceNow Technical Architects work closely with stakeholders, developers, and other IT professionals to ensure that the technical solutions align with business goals and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and Architecture: Develop and design architectural solutions within the ServiceNow platform that meet business needs and technical requirements. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the solutions.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend ServiceNow solutions, tools, and frameworks that best fit the project requirements. Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow trends and innovations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other IT professionals to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.
• System Integration: Plan and oversee the integration of ServiceNow with various systems and applications, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between different components.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of architectural designs, technical specifications, and implementation plans. Ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, performance testing, and security assessments to ensure the quality and reliability of the ServiceNow solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience
• Minimum of 12-16 years of experience in ServiceNow development, system architecture, or a related technical role
• Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.
• Experience with both on-premise and cloud-based architectures.
• Extensive Experience on ServiceNow CMDB & Discovery Modules
• Good knowledge of CMDB data model
• Working experience in Discovery (OnPrem & Cloud based)
• Well versed with ServiceNow scripting, creation of custom patterns & tag based Discovery
• Experience in resolving Discovery issues & coordinating with various infra teams
• Working experience in Service Maps
• Experience in creating pattern based & tag based service maps
• Experience in writing custom patterns
• Hands-on experience with Event Management module
• Knowledge of various monitoring looks viz., SCOM, Nagios, SolarWinds, Azure monitor etc.
• Experience with practical designing and implementation knowledge on ITBM
The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of a Timesheet Portal Management on the workbench in ServiceNow, Desgining and implementation of Project and Demands screen
